Replacement Using 'SnapTool'

One of the most useful tools is the Screenshot Replacement Mode. This allows you to replace the underlying screenshot without have to use the Markup tools again.

To activate the Replacement Mode, click 'SnapTool' button.

Go to the application you wish to replace with a new Image.

E.g. Our software was updated and we want to replace the Image.

Make sure that the Frame where you want to replace the Image is active (green colour shows an active frame).

Now select the Runthru 'SnapTool' in your taskbar and position it over the target application.

Now select the Runthru 'SnapTool' in your taskbar and position it over the target application

Click here to activate a Replacement Mode.

It is possible to make a replacement of the Background Image using all 'SnapTool' options.

Press the 'SnapTool' button when you are ready to take a screenshot.

As shown, the Image has been easily replaced.

If the size of the Image is the same as the previous one, markup tools stay at the same place.

Replacement Using Existing File or Screenshot

Click the 'Tools' black triangle to open Tools' panel.

E.g. we can change the Background Image with a different text here.

Choose one of these options to replace the Image without having to re-do the markup using these options.

Click the 'Using Existing File' button to choose a file from existing ones.

A Windows box will appear and you choose one image.

Click 'Open' to replace the image.

As shown, the Image was easily replaced without having to re-do the markup. If the size is the same as the previous background Image, markup tools stay at the same place.

Come back to Tools' panel to try another Image replacement option Using Screenshot.

When you click the 'Using Screenshot' button, a notification ('Image replacement by clipboard is ON') appears below the frame which the Background Image you wish to replace.

Go to the application you wish to replace with a new Image.

Press Alt+PrintScreen or PrintScreen to make a screenshot.

Note: You can feed Runthru images using Windows Snipping Tool and Another Snipping Tool as well.
