Rearranging of Numbers

Note: This is a really convenient tool if you want to insert a new step or rearrange numbers of current items which have a counter.

Here, at the bottom of Runthru, you can see the sequence of Items - this is called the live editing panel.

Reordering Items can be done using drag and drop. Grabbing items in this section with your mouse to reorder.

If you want to rearrange numbers 1 and 2 do so by dragging and dropping the number 2 in front of 1.

The best place to grab the item is indicated with an ellipse and an arrow.

Look for the 'yellow' indicator to see where your item will be dropped.

As you can see, the sequence of the numbers was changed.

Creating And Rearranging Groups

After using the highlighter, it has formed a group of Items with the 1st Text box automatically. You may need to drag a particular shape into another group so that it is matched with the appropriate Text box.

Why? Because in some outputs the groups are shown one at a time.

E.g. This highlighter is related to the 2nd Text box. According to this fact, it would be better to pair this with step 2.

It is possible to group numbers as well, this is because some outputs the groups are shown one at a time.

E.g. Click the 'Output' button, choose this PowerPoint output 'Single Step per Slide' to see how it looks when numbers are not grouped.

If you want to make a group of numbers it is possible to do so by dragging and dropping.

E.g. Make a group of numbers 4 and 5.

Reordering a Group can be done using drag and drop as well. Grabbing where shown will allow the Group of related Items to be reordered.

Rearranging of Frames

It is possible to reorder Frames by using drag and drop (green colour shows an active frame).

E.g. Reorder the 3rd Frame by dragging and dropping it in the front of the 1st Frame.

As shown, the sequence has been changed.

Now you can see, when we rearranged the frames, numbers were automatically rearranged as well.

Notice how the new 1st frame has the counters starting at 1. The counting is always automatic in Runthru.
